Boot times?

Hey people..
A friend of mine needs a little help... He's gathering information about Boot Timing on Different OS e.g Windows XP, Windows Vista...etc... So im sure most of u pretty much restart everyday... So can you please just look at the clock before u hit the Restart button and again when windows has loaded... Thanks in advance ![]() |

mine is 1 min for xp sp2 from boot selection menu to the state computer is ready for use (i.e. after logon).....

install the original windows xp and boot time will be reduced considerably. only one progress bar appears at startup process
btw my boot time is 50 seconds, including the wierd hdd light glow right after windows and everything is loaded which takes extra 10 sec |
