Assalamualaikum everyone.

I'm facing a problem for the past few weeks now. While opening some folders windows takes approximately 9-10 seconds to open it. Same thing happens when I 'select' that folder.

I've ran a complete antivirus scan and anti-spyware scan but found nothing.

Try Defragmentation Tool on all partitions of your HDD. IMO it happens a lot when there are fragmented files on HDD.

Make sure your HDD connectors are properly secured and engaged in their sockets.

@Shahrukh... its not a virus or else all folders should behave the same.

@UZI... I closed all of the unnecessary processes but the problem stays.

---

Currently I'm defragmenting all of my drives. Lets see what happens. *This is a slow process :S*
