i want modifide window xp wich support all new laptops bcoz in new laptop coming vista pro sata harddisk,winxp dos not supprting sata hard so we must need sata & intel matricx storage manager drivers any one know obout this
or some one guide me how i add these drivers in winxp to resolve this problim

a lot depends on ur brand of laptop.
if the laptop chipset supports S-ata (via raid or otherwise) in XP, drivers can be slipstreamed into windows installation or installed via a floppy disk
if the chipset doesnt support S-ata in xp, then either u can change the setting in the bios to IDE emulation and reinstall vista and xp .


99% newer chipsets dont supoprt ACHI under xp, thus u would probably need to reinstall both os's by changing S-ata mode to IDE emulation from ACHI in the bios

I had a BIG BIG problem running my DVD-RW when i installed XP under ACHI mode!
