Well, I haven't had the guts to actually install it yet as my system is running quite fine, but there is rumor going on that it actually gives a performance boost (like 10%) in all services. Now if you ask me, 10% boost is quite good, I would want that. So anyone has experienced it! Does it even install in pirated versions?

i have the student ed of xp. the pack installs okay.
peformance boost really havent looked into. feels the same to me.
i'll do a few 3dmark runs to see if it does give a boost to gfx performance

I will install SP3 as soon as I get hold of it! Make a Ghost Image of your current Windows. In case any thing goes wrong, you can get back from the image file you create.

U might get a boost but it might not be that noticable to the normal user!!

i installed it yesterday....seen no boost as yet, may be it's not noticable....
