Has any1 yet tried the new official SP3 for windows XP?
Mine working as a charm..
give u ur comments..
as it has everything integrated like Live messenger..
Windows media player 11
and Internet Explorer 7.0
Just extract with winrar..
and thats it...
works like a charm.......

This does not seem to be the official SP3, last I checked the release date was beyond first quarter '08.

That said, all hotfixes, updates and addons such as IE 7.0, WMP 11, Adobe Reader, Windows Messenger can be integrated into a regular XP Pro Installation for a complete installation (up to date from a fresh installation). These packages that update windows with all released hotfixes, updates, addons etc are often referred to 'unofficial' SP's. Please make sure you are using a legit MS released SP3 package

SP3 hasn't been released. I would have received plenty of notifications if that were true.

This is the pirate version of Windows dubbed Windows SP3, just like the previous Windows XP Bill Gates edition... The old SP2 flavouring was getting old so they made an SP3 one by including tons of software.

If someone wants a near SP3 version of Windows XP, just slipstream the various updates into the SP2 setup files.

yes i searched a lot on warez site news site this aint an official release.. this might be looking like one but it must be like Asad said someone embed sp3 BETA with winxp..

impossible, ms will never do this officially must be a pirated version.. nlited, you can pre install as many apps you want.

there is no sp3 for xp till 1H-08, probably will ship along with sp1 vista

there is no official sp3 for xp apart for the noob(s)!

for whom there will be sp4 and sp5 and sp6 as well

better download 1 cd trimmed version of vista i've listened it runs fine on low end machines..
there are alot from which provided by eXperience is best who is making tinyxp from beginning.

thanksgod i started loving linux and running 3 distros along with xp (yeh xp is just because other members in my home feel comfortable with it)

current grub list is
Fedora core 7
Ubuntu 7.10 gutsy gibon (installed kde environment)
