ok now it comes to be a ravmon.exe virus.aajkal bara mashoor hai.
i googled for help but ppl say that delete svchost.exe and ravmon.exe from task manager and then shut off antivirus and delete it in every drive.
but i just cant find it man no where in taskmanager .and that show hidden files button doesnt work .wtf is this.

i can easily reinstall windows but it comes back may be when i connect my psp with computer as it looks that the psp mem stick is also infected .

Just scan using any antivirus with current definitions and you should be able to catch it.

Secondly, are you talking about svchost or ssvcihost?

the virus is commonly know as ravmon.exe and also comes as SVCHOSt.exe(svchost in caps)
their no antivirus has been sucessful in deleting this i have tried all .but the above application doest it in seconds so give me karma and rep

My flash drive is often infected with this virus but it always gets removed when I connect it to my PC at home. Symantec Antivirus Corporate Edition 10 does the job.

yes only SYamntec Corporate v10 can detect and remove the virus

First enable these options
Folder Options - > General -> Tasks Windows classic
Folder Options - > View -> Show Hidden Files

Then Search for autorun.inf in all drives & DELETE, restart System
Install Symantec Corporate and scan all drives

Kaspersky 6.0 and 7.0 detects the virus when u plug in an infected pen drive or external hard drive which contains the virus ... and then deletes it ...

Yup my AVG does the same job for me when ravemon is found....
