I second max.com.pk I hate being redundant but their Customer Service is outstanding! Now that there is no difference in tarrif amongst PTCL, Link and max, that is all the more reason why you should go for max.
They're also excellent at fixing your landlines! Whenever my telephone goes down, I call max NOT ptcl because the guys at max fix my phone in a couple of hours as opposed to a couple of 'months' ptcl would take!

ask the people in ur neighbourhood. they would know best.
there are two very good threads on wiredpakistan on both these isps (and many others). if ur neighbours are happy with a particular service chances are so would u be! (same exchange + same DP (high probability) = near similar exp.) |

link.net works great at the office. but at my place, it is kinda bad these days.
i am on 2mb consumer package now...but the browsing aint that fast, and the ping replies from the server were over 800ms..but now they are over 300ms. which is crap of course. as for downloading...its pretty weird. below is the image for reference. ![]() now im not sure if this problem is only with me...but the speed goes up to 210+ for a 3-4 seconds, then comes down to 80s-90s for 10-15 seconds; then it again goes up to 200+, then down again. thus, the neat design in the graph. as for ptcl, its service is great as well. infact both services are of equal performances at my office. it sure varies from exchange to exchange.

mines MAXCOM never DC and never i faced less than 35kb...as far as thier customer care concerned if u call them @3 @night they will revieve, and try to resolve problem if its internal...and for external they will send thier man the next day....
THE COMPANY IS KNOWN BY ITS CUSTOMERS,NOT BY ITS ADVERTISMENT
