ppl i have a really strange problem with my internet
when ever i start a p2p or torrent software browse or i download some thing via browser (specially with p2p and torrent ) the net stops working but aftter 10-15 min or even 5 .the modem is in sink i have reinstalled windows 3 times and also got my modem replaced can some one help me out .i have to disable and enable the connection after every 10 - 15 min for it to work its really a pain

plz plz plz help me i am using vista should i change the cd and get a new one or any thing to help me
max com people are also clueless they to get a lan card or just restart the system or to get an anti virus ppl need suggestion

well i have MAXCOM and i`m not facing such a strange problem...did u face this problem before? i think u should have to talk to them they will send the man to see ur problem....

can be a voltage issue too. which modem router are you using. my thombsun dont work at lower voltages!

mine is ZYXEL and before i had a shiro and face this problem. i am facing this problem since i got the new Computer.and a person came from max com and and said modem is fine and there is no problem

i have zyxel and the onlt rhing i can think off i either the settings of router or your phone line connection..

does your ethernet blink rapidly or does the dsl light doesnt get stable..tell me your whole problem and i might help u out
....

u could also visit wiredpakistan they also can help u in this matter

Brother the windows u installed are from the same cd so no difference... Do one thing get a Rs.10 waala dial up card.. and see if the problem still exists.. if everything is normal.. call maxcom and tell them to get their a$$ at ur place pronto to fix the issue.

Also try if u can get ur hand on another LAN CARD try on that as well.. You using the LAN on your motherboard rite?

Let me give you an example. I have a Zhone (Paradyne) modem, on which 2 modes are running: NAT mode and Bridge mode. The bridge mode bypasses the NAT mode and uses fixed public IP.
I used Bridge (public IP) for my PC, whereas the other PC was on NAT mode (192.168.1.x). Whenever i used to download anything at full speed, the NAT mode used to get disconnected, whereas the internet on my PC used to run without any problem.

Note: The modem does not unsync, but only NAT connection used to break up with the ISP servers.

Now, i never got the solution to this problem, but since a few months, this problem hasnt occured for some reason. Now since nothing was altered that i know of, i cant figure out what was causing the disconnection of NAT mode.

If the same is the case with you, try not to utilize the internet more than 90%. Use any net limiting software.

I am not saying this is the solution to your problem, but you might give it a try.

I think his lan card is causing the problem....
