Networking project...any ideas??

Well can anyone give me some ideas on doing a semester project regarding data communication and networking???
I intend to do this project related to some practical tools and with the help of matlab coding.. I searched alot for how to connect two PC;s using a dial up modem without a LAN card through matlab code but didn;t find anything.. Any ideas from members ???? |

Why don't you do something more constructive?
Install RAS service on a machine then dial in from the workstation to the RAS server. Who is your Mentor or who authorized this project? What university is this?
