Assalamualaikum everyone.

I hope you all will be fine and in good health.

I've created this thread because I'm sick and tired of my current cable net. The reasons are:

1. The download speed varies between 16-40kbps at peak times and in the night it varies between 30-80kbps.
2. FTP is blocked. No torrents, no online (or even LAN) gaming, no P2P downloading can be done.
3. I just want to get rid of this dumb thing!

So, after facing all these things I'm considering about moving to either LinkDotNet or PTCL DSL (or some other). People here using different connections can guide me best regarding these. I want to know which one would be good to go (in sense of downloading, online gaming, latency, troubleshooting etc).

Note: I'm not considering about those ISP's which offer volume based connection.

From what Ive heard/read/seen, PTCL is the better of the two. I'll let the people who're subscribed to these ISPs decide.

I am on Link DOT Net..
and its 512kbps package....is gr8..
i would prefer it over ptcl......
coz of there customer support..
u all know how ptcl is when it comes to customer support..
i am getting stable speed ranging from 40 to 60kbps....at all times..
and i am really happy with it..
the rest is upto u my friend...
i used the broadband connection of Wateen for like three months....
but as i got to know that there is no unlimited downloads on the broadband package..
I shifted to Link DOT net....
and since than all is going gr8..
and all the ftps....and torrents are working gr8
