Downloaded Movie Problem

i've downloaded a movie "HORTON HEARS A WHO........."

but i cannot play this movie in any media player
at first it said to dwnload a codec and media player i did so from IWantIt4Free.com

later it says ......................error in opening movie

i have downloaded many movies before but never had such problem,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,anyone ?? having same problem ??

and plz suggest a solution

Try it on VLC PLAYER. But i think wat you have downloaded is just not a movie. I had a similar problem like this i just had to delete the file cuz it was some AD-WARE as you may call it!

bro where did u download from and what error does give is a codec error.did u play the file in divx player.

If you cannot get it to run on VLC, it is probably fake. It has happened to me a couple of times.

Fake episodes. Fake movies.

This is the reason why I prefer piratebay.org. You get to read user comments and it can point you in the right direction as far as the validity of the movie/whatever is concerned.

Alternatively you could try download the Klite Codec Pack, which includes Media Player Classic. Better than VLC imo.

You should give kLite codec a try. tDD is right, media player classic is good. Moreover by installing kLite codec you'll get many other codecs installed aswell.
