New Packages effecting 1st March 2008
There is no more 256k connection. 512kbps - Rs. 1199 1024kbps - Rs.1999 2048kbps - Rs.4999 All packages have unlimited bandwidth Student Package 512kbps - Rs.839 1024kbps - Rs.1399 2048kbps - Rs.3499 All the current 256k users will be upgraded to 512k, 512k users will be upgraded to 1024kbps, 1024kbps will be upgraded to 2048kbps on 1st March 2008 Source: PTCL offical Email.

Micronet refused, Multi doesnt work, PTCL doesnt respond! also we've shut off one of our ptcl number in favour of a nayatel number (which i've yet to subscribe to). reason is simply cuz there is no line rent on nayatel's number. None at all and VAS (CLI etc) is free unlike ptcl. u do pay a little more for local calls, but International dialing is on par with ptcl as is nationwide. |

This broadband change is driven by Moit which envisions Rs 500 BB connections in the future
