I had this issue nagging for the past couple of week, but now it's much worse.
basically it goes like this:

if i try to access pkforum.com (www.pkforum.com) via Firefox (or IE for that matter), it would get stuck at waiting for pkforum or transferring data from pkforum

if i let it continue it would load up the page in about 2 mins!

I tried routing the url via ctunnel and it works like a charm no issues at all

This doesnt happen with *any* other website (local or international).
I have a firewall, but i've had it for years, and i am sure that isnt the problem.
no adblockers or real-time anti-spyware installed

anyone has any idea why this is happening???

I haven't experienced this issue.

Have you considered the possibility that you wife might have put PKFORUM on parental control since you are paying the forum more attention than her [as you yourself admitted]?

Check your hosts file in:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc

See if PKFORUM is listed in it.

I am having a similar problem, but not just with pkforum, all webpages. It does not always happen, but randomly when i click on a link or open a website, the page keeps on loading forever. and since im used to it, as soon as i notice its taking more seconds than it shoud, i tap F5 to reload the page, or click the link again and the webpage loads instantly. Sometimes i have to tap F5 twice or thrice. this problem started since a few days.
