Well i have some questions about DSl so can anyone help me with da solutions...
1)Is it better to buy PTCl broadband or should i wait for WATEEN's ..?

2)Does the distance from ur service provider to ur home effect the speed of ur DSL/Broadband?
Less distance=more speed
More distance=less speed..?

3) Is their any trick or tweak to get unlimited download when u have subscribed for a 2Gb volume package?

1 - Your call.
2 - The distance from the exchange to your home does affect the speed if the medium being used in the copper twisted pair. If using ONU, not much difference is incurred.
3 - No, unless you are the son in law of the owner of the ISP.

1. dont go for PTCL. reviews from people who had it installed have been anything but good (read: pathetic).

2. distance from your local telephone exchange effects teh speed (although not by much).

3. your ISP can take legal action against you if you're caught, so its inadvisable to do so..

Wait for wateeen its gr8..
Yes the speed is effected but not that much.
its only a difference of some bytes...so dont worry about that.
and as far as unlimited downloads is concernred.
just stick to wateen when they come coz all there packages are unlimted...
regardless of what speed u opt for....
Soo no other chances until u know some1.....

I have been using MAX dsl for about six months now and I've never been happier. I was thinking of switching to PTCL but these rumours... Has anyone used their service? and more importantly what's wrong with it? I use the
128K connection by MAX(Rs.1250/month) and I get downloads at 13kbs/sec consistently.
And are wateen's packages going to be like really cheap? :P
