Helloo mates....
i started the same kind of THREAD last time....(good old days.) and here i am with same passion again.... Mission is to throw out lame XP out of system and use one of best OS in market.......  so people what do you say about that...

Well I got the DVD on 22nd May..
But to the hell with my COMBO drive which just refused to read the DVD at 95%when the installer was installing one of few last packages like Language packages.. It tested the media before and it was working perfectly.. Immy can U make it clear what problem are U facing??? I think in partitioning.. it is easy but its partitioner is lame.. it just does very big things its own... and bit confused one though I handled it successfully. 2ndly can U use a third party software from Open source or Norton Disk Doctor or Paragon/Norton Partition magic ?? Make a separate Primary partition, format it using MAC OSX Extended file system.. and boot the installer DVD, set it active it as well if U dont know how to do it from MAC OSX Kernel.. Simply in installation menu select ur recently formatted partition. and go on with installation. I did partition via its own installer, while I had great opportunity to use Mandriva's lovely partitioning manager for this i-e DISK DRAKE. |

Oh what is the error???
It is something like Panic Kernel.. and no driver found for this device/HW ACPI or blah blah ??? I got same after reboot... updated my BIOS from ASUS and all is settled. On MACOSX forum U can see many people experience it and after BIOS update they got it fixed. |
