The highly acclaimed x360 RPG, mass effect will feature on the PC this may. EA will be the publisher instead of M$.

more in the press release here:
Public relations, press release distribution, investor relations, SEC filing | Business Wire

synopsis:
"Mass Effect, the critically acclaimed Xbox 360 sci-fi RPG from developer BioWare, will be ported over to the PC platform and published this May by BioWare's new owners Electronic Arts (Microsoft published the Xbox 360 version). The PC version will contain high resolution visuals and an optimized control scheme along with "Run & Gun Control". According to the press release, this means "Players can assign biotic powers or skills to ‘hot keys’ allowing them to play Mass Effect with a heavier focus on action." There will also be a new inventory GUI as well as a new decryption mini-game. The press release also confirms that, "EA has struck an agreement with Microsoft to handle future publishing for Mass Effect," which includes any upcoming sequels to the original."

Bioware's RPGs are pretty good. I've played both baldur gates, though i am not sure if II was an inhouse deal, both KOtors. some planescape.
i really didnt get 'never winter nights' (either).
but loved KOTOR and they're making another KOTOR as Well!

Baldur Gate is one of yester-year's greatest RPGs. Ever.

NWN2 however, didnt really like it much. The pre-patched version was very buggy.
