i love mindless action like in serious same and this game.
keep on killing and killing and killing...

yeah. gets a tad repetitive sometimes, but serious sam and painkiller were sheer entertainment and fun..

although i like objective based shooters (read: quake wars) much more..

yep. single player skirmish and campaign mode as well (latter is basically lots of objectives on different maps, former = lots of objectives on a single player map). then there's a time trial mode (havent played that yet).

believe me teh single player is buckets of fun, you can play teh whole day. there are virtually thousands of different things to try from teh two very interesting and uniquely different yet balanced factions (GDI, Strogg). teh bots are good and there are 3 different difficulty levels as well. playing at medium or hard is awesome..
