The original crysis thread is really overloaded with posts, so i made this.
i request the mods to merge this with the original post after sometime when everyone has had time to *digest* these.

not too bad at medium, but hovering on 30 at high isnt really encouraging!

^please post a benchmark here. i'll post the automatic bench utility short cut.

1. Set ingame settings to high/medium and resolution

"../ea/crytek/single player demo/bin 32"

you will see 2 batch files. one for gpu, 1 for cpu.

run em, one by one and see what they turn up.

^0 Xaa, default AF.
running on a quadcore Q6600 at 3.0 ghz,
2gb of ram
running dx9, xp. i think u were benching in dx10, vista.

shows what i've been telling u. stock 8800gtx @ 1024x768 gets u 23 fps at 4x AA, all set to very high.

a 8800gts gets a whole lot of 33fps at 0xAA at high at the same res with a quad core cpu!

it's not a game for any of today's pc's!

maybe if u have enough $$$$ to fork out a couple of ultra's then yes!, otherwise wait for another year.
