The ASUS lightscribe DVD-RW can label ur DVDs...so the manual says...but wen i try using the light scribe feature available with nero tools the drive ejects saying insert a light scribe disc...so my question is....r there specil light scribe DVD's or any will work??

u need dvd with dat feature

You need compatible media too. Normal DVD and CDs aren't lightscribe compatible.

verbatim has lightscribe dvds check vmart for them....just a fancy feature to reduce ur laser's age do remember that!

I think I read that there are two heads; one for the lightscribe burning and the other for normal reading/burning.

already answered ,

you need a spacial kind of disk which has different upper side as compared to normal discs ...they are costly so i just call it a SHASHKA
