My WD 160GB Hard Drive Circuit Board Got Damaged....If i replace the hdd circuit board will my data will Loes??????? Any Idea where can i changed the hdd circuit board.I am In lahore............PLZ HELP...

Get a similar HDD and replace parts to get it working again.

if the fluctuation go to the actuator arm motor (the arm that moves the read and write heads) and burnt that out u would need some one to take the platters out and put em in a comparable drive. i know of people in lahore HC who use(d) t0 do this.

if the board got damaged only, which is pretty rare as it (fluctuation) would've caused much more than a hdd death!

anyways u could always get a new board of a similar type and if everything else is the same u could probably get ur data back.
