Hello,

i hve bought another 1 gb kinston stick from a frnd to run in dual channel i.e 1X1gb kingston ddr2 667.....

ok now see the attached image, it is saying tht they r working in dual channel, but see there is no mention of 128 bit below dual....secondly also not tht slot 1 ram is showing no description of ram but slot 2 is showing description like serial no. manufacturers name etc....

so i m thinking kahin 1 ram fake kingston to nahi hai....wht do u guys say....btw the one i hve was bought from AGN and the one i bought from frnd was bought from Galaxy.....

Thanks

1. if it says dual, then it is dual

2. hmm... this is obtuse! why not check at kingston's website to see if the ram module is from them or not . (try cpu-z 1.45 as well, though i am sure it wont make a difference)

Yups positive.
And i dont think it really means anything at all. As long as it gives the performance and is stable with your system, I dont think there is anything to worry about!

2gb stick + 1gb x 2 sticks work in dual channel.
Atleast for intel boards.
