hello guys...i want to buy 9600gt in a few days....but i am confused which brand to select...galaxy has the xfx 9600gt (non-overclocked) for Rs.14200....and MSI 9600gt (overclocked) is available for Rs.13500....moreover MSI one has 3 years warranty
i have also read of some black "screen of death" problems with 9600gt...any of 9600gt owners having this problem yet?

well i own xfx 9600 gt tht u r referring to.....bro seriously, u r getting an overclocked gpu, with custom design/cooler 700 rs cheaper.....bhai don't wait and get it asap the msi one (see if it is the same one as in attached image)....a guy on another forum bought the same msi version for 13800 a month or so ago and he is loving it for a reason....

i haven't face any such issues with my 9600 gt and never heard of any issues before....it is stable as it should be....

yes the issue was in new cards jus wen 9600gt had come...jus make sure u have a nice psu....and if u have the warranty u shud never ever worry bout these situations atleast wen it comes to dealing wid galaxy...u shud in fact buy cards which are gonna go out of the market soon, buy it run it when it dies hope that it does within its warranty period go for replacement they will most probably replace wid new and better card of equal specs

go for MSI as...

it gives better performance
higher waranty.
better resale
and it`s overclock...

buying a card with 1 yr waranty is really suck though i have one.

the INNO`s 9600 gt has lots of problems...don`t ever never go for INNO..

i have MSI 6600|GT for 3 years and it`s still working well...

that 3 year warranty, how much of it is *local*. i remember Astron only offering 10 months local warranty, for the rest of the period the postage to and from taiwan was buyers headache.
