whenever i start my PC this CMOS checksun error comes.
i set the date from 2001 to 2008 but the next time i start my PC again the same error appears again??
wat shud i do ??

I agree with Both Kashif and Omee, just change the battrery..
I had the same error long time back, by changing the battery ur cmos error will disappear..

there is no rocket sciene in this.
just change the battery and then go in Bios and select the defaults settings setup...
and u are done!!!
