Hello,
I have completed my BBA-Hons and now I want to do MBA....can anyone tell me which university in karachi is good for MBA....I know about IBA , SZABIST and CBM .... but other than those .... SZABIST and CBM's fee structure is unaffordable for me and IBA's entry test is very difficult and there are friends of mine who have failed in it who are very good than me so I am not thinking about applying in IBA so which other universities can be considered after these 3 .....

try a private college and do it from KU's affiliation. Why not do a job in the morning for 6 months or so to make up money and then jump in to szabist evening? BBA hons can easily get 10k plus jobs.

The way you said you don't want to apply for IBA's test, seems to me that you are in just for a timepass.

Atleast try that.

The thing is that my friend's who got A grade in intermediate and 3.2 GPA in BBA even failed in IBA's test whereas I got B grade in intermediate and 2.8 GPA in BBA so what i am saying is that people are who are better in studies than me have failed in that test thats why i didn't see any chance of me getting pass in the test .... one has to look himself too and your own potential and not everyone does MBA from IBA otherwise the other universities would have closed isn't it so people who are doing MBA from other universities are doing just timepass ???

No they aren't, but most do try, atleast.

I'll tell you something. I am in gik, and there are a couple of board toppers in intermediate and people with three or four A's in a levels and they've failed multiple times. And then there are people with 60-70% marks in FSc taking 3.8-4gpa.

As someone told me, marks/gpa jaib mei jatey hain, its what you know that matters. and knowledge is unrelated to gpa, thats my personal experience.

my frnd good mba institutions are very expensive, infact cbm and szabist dont really see how good u r, u need to have lots of $$$ and they will take u in......iqra is good and bit cheaper as well, i think its about 9-10k per course at iqra.....

and as fahim said, u can do some job and continue ur education as well...u can easily get a job in a call center for around 12k-15k starting salary.....if u r interested in doing a job in call center for around 8-10k, i may be able to hook u up in PIA Contact Center.....if u r interested, pm me....

UZI will become famous soon enough
Two things

1) Where there is a will, there is a way.
2) It doesnt matter how good you are, what matters is how good do you want to be.

Get a job, work hard for admission in IBA and if you dont make it you will most probably be in a position to afford szabist, cbm or whatever.

Dont look for an easy life like a burger boy. Your education prepared you to make good decisions, make one now and dont settle for anything less than what you desire for your career.
