I have some questions related to bachelors degree.

1. what is the difference between BE, BSc and BS(not bullshit)?
   
2. is BS(XXX Eng) is equal to BE?
   
3. can i do ME after doing BS(XXX Eng) and after BSc(KU)?
   
   
4. suppose i get admission in BS or BSc. is there any way to transfer the credit hours in BE programme?
   
5. and last but not the least tell me about the universities which offer admission in winter session in pakistan except comsats.

1. BE is Bachelors in ENGINEERING... BSc is actually BScs (Bachelors of science in Computer Science)
The Difference is that.. BSC is only based on Computer studies and Telecommunication... Basically for 3 years you study the same thing only the last year has your majors in either CS or Telecom.

BE is done in.. Electrical, Mechanical, Computer(Information technology) and Electronics. And some parts of the world.. I think its called.. Mechatronics (mixture of mechanical and electrical engineering).

2. Didnt get that.. BS is bachelors in science and not bachelors in engineering. BE n BS are different!
3. Yes you can do any ME after any bachelors.

4. Not all course credit hours are transferred but some of them do get transferred!
5. I can tell you abt karachi only.. Kiet(Karachi Institute of Economics and Technology(or English toothpaste ), CBM (College of business management for BSC or BCS n not BE), Kasbit and Usman Institute of Science and Technology.

IIRC, BS is used when the degree is not recognized by PEC. BE is used when university has PEC accreditation for the specific course.

BE is in British system

yes BS is equal to BE
you can do ME after BS but i am not sure about BSc

don't go for BSc if u have another option

i saw the add of usman uni. it is offering same simmilar courses like BE(telecom) and BS(telecom & networking) at same time. so there is some bigger difference.

in some programs it is written that e.g.(BS chemical engineering) so is it equal to BE chemical?

what if i do 2 years BS degree?


non of them offering mechenical engineering :-(

don't do it..........after that if u plan to go for MS then you have to take all the courses which you missed in 2 years ...and those courses are called Pre-Requisite

so better if u go for 4 year program

and how old are u btw ?
