i am about to complete my electronics engineering ..majors in telecommunication and now my view point might have changed and when i was in
2nd Year(F.sc II) i had no intention to do engineering but i like my choice and at that time i changed my mind from armed forces to this ....................and at this time if i were you i would have chosen Electrical (despite being unaware of what it is ...i would have chosen it )

go for electronics ... and you dont need to understand today's need because you are not graduating before 4 years ... and which university you will getting admission .. in one or two (or may be more) universities electronics departments are sponsored by the multinational companies ... and they offers the job for the top students in their last year .. the one i know is siemens they get the cream from NED and IIEE

they might do this for electrical as well .. but didnt sure abt it

There is absolutely no difference between the two in Pakistan atleast. Electrical covers Telcom (communication), electronics and Power (wapda in layman terms).

So you'll have a choice between communication and power in most of the universities. choose accordingly which you like but for now, electrical or electronics will do fine.
