Witness it yourself:

Frankly speaking, everything he states is practically true. Are we really Muslims?

And no... blaming it on government or Mushy would be a folly. It is the very people who are to blame, not the government.

Obviously there are good Muslims, many of them, but these beliefs mentioned in the video are also common place. What to do about this weakness of faith?

Consider it as levels of sin. Shirk is the highest sin possible. Eating haraam is a sin too but less than the greatest of sins, shirk.

YES, MUSLIMS ARE HYPOCRITES
Mr. Green is damn right on the money.... Allah bless him.
And for those who are confused, he wasn't saying that drinking alcohol is better then shirk, he was merely showing the intensity of shirk when compared to drinking....

this isnt being unislamic this is being "moderate"

ofcourse there is nothing islamic about our state's outlook.

i would def. blame this govt.
before this atleast there were some norms in the society, now this is like... dubai in the late 80s. now duabi has moved on, and i guess so will we.

I don't agree with you. People have the power to change the state of a nation, The govt. doesn't! Specially when we already have corruption spread in it.

As far as the video is concerned, everything he said is literally, harshfully and disturbingly true. And for the marriage part, I would say that that was the best part in the whole video, very true saying. We have illiterate people who do what he said, Its a shame for us.

yes people do have the power. but u have set up some rules for what is right and wrong. if u let people decided without setting any boundaries or limits they would start to derive their own conclusions

case in point
yesterdays the news: ramzan bytes

one of the 'hip young girl' said that ramzan is just like anyother month , people only get more pious in it.

if u dont set norms or boundaries then this is what u get. an immoral society!

its easy to be bad and hard to be good, when ur govt. says being 'bad' is cool, then u just add to the 'easiness' of becoming bad.

The point returns to the fact that it's only possible when the Govt. is clean. And since the "people" running it are deep in corruption, how would you actually get to see those "Set of rules" that will change the state of a country?

This statement is just the amount which tells how much she's involved with her Religion.

We cannot force anyone in Islam as Islam has already forbidden such thing {Force}.
