40GB PS3 for Seemingly US $399 -- so how many jumping on it.

Well, its yet to be confirmed.... its going to be a good thing for ps3 lovers who are holding back due to price factor... i remember posting about 40GB PS3 few days back but can't seem to find the thread now...

they were in trouble the day they announced the 600 dollar price tag, addition of rsx!
ps one got lucky as nintendo decided to stick with carts with the n64, warna even if u play mario 64 on emulator today, it's hard to figure out why this console didnt succeed ps 2 had no competetion at all. it had a very strong heritage. xbx was late, the controller was clunky and was an unknown ps 3 fell into xbx360's trap. it had one killer game Gears out at that time, EA was fully supporting it (unlike xbx-1). and then nintendo unleashed it's nunchuk weilding Wii. which blew any chance ps3 had of a susbtancial sales base away! |

"Sony Computer Entertainment Europe today confirmed the existence of a lower-priced 40GB PlayStation 3 model by announcing its availability across Europe, Middle East, Africa and Australasia starting October 10.
