Sorry about crapping your thread but my friend who has this d600 laptop is in a pickle. There is absolutely no display on the laptop now even during the initial bios boot/display. He bought it from someone a couple of days ago. It boots alright because he can hear windows xp booting up and everything and even shuts down properly. So what could be the problem? He thinks he pressed down some key that caused the display to shift to projector or something. I have no experience with laptops. You having used this laptop, care to shed some light?

2. it will take you to a options page before the windows xp bars appear. 3. select 'enable vga mode' from there. should do the trick..
