thnx.....yeah thts wht he told me ever after i told him that i m calling from Pakistan .....yeah one side shipping charges will be on us and return shipping is on them......if something goes wrong with the gpu after an year, then u just need to call them up, they will need some details from u, like some serial no on the card etc and will give u the address to ship to.....offcourse, burning/damage is not covered, rest is covered....

thnkoo....yeah shipping cost might be 1-2k rs...but if u hve bought a 20K gpu then it is still good that u will get another one for 1-2k rs after an year or two unless u wanna upgrade to some other gpu...

Shipment would cost 45-60 bucks so claiming warranty for minor issues is not a feasible option.
yeah registration is required surely, for xfx it should be registered within 30 days of purchase....oh well i forgot to register my 9600 gt on xfx

So if an XFX graphics card stops working after 2 years... We can send it to them and they will replace or repair??

Usually, if you buy directly from the company (BFG, EVGA, etc) the price is very high. Although, if you buy from a reseller (i.e. Newegg), the price is much better.

Here is another example, BFG 9800GTX @ $210. It's an overclocked version. Here. Now, why can't Galaxy match up to these prices? All 9800GTX are in the $190-$230 range.

They can't match prices like newegg for computer hardware. After all they have to make lots and lots of profits .

Thore profit par guzara karne ka riwaaj to khatam ho gaya hai aajkal. Almost every trader tries to skin a customer unfortunate enough to walk in it's shop nowadays.

They would repair and replace it provided you registered your VGA card on their website within first thirty days of purchase. Because extended warranty (greater than basic one year) is only available after successful registration.

Believe it or not but XFX is not being offered compensation for the price cut by NVidia... at least not for this region. I have no idea how they are managing it in the US, perhaps NVidia is directly compensating the e-tailers?

XFX has not reduced its 9800GTX prices yet, so Galaxy won't either.

NVidia's partners are not pleased with the price cut they announced, since all they did is announce and are not able to provide the price cut to all of their partners.

BTW. Price cuts aside, Galaxy's prices are very high... Even when the price cut reaches this region officially through XFX, it will still not cost direct equivalent of 200 US$.
